If you browse through my blog archives, you’ll notice that for a personal development blog, there’s a shortage of health and fitness information. This is because over the course of this past year, I’ve sort of “revamped” my thoughts on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and now I’m finally convinced of what’s the best way to remain fit, or become fit if you’re not already there.
At the very start of this year (sometime around January or February I’d guess), I stumbled upon a very interesting (and free) eBook on the subject of becoming and staying fit. “Oh no, not another “health and fitness” eBook!”, I thought to myself, but since it was a free download, I thought I’d give it a quick read and see if it’s any different.
Genuinely Good Information
To my surprise, it presented information that I’ve never heard of before, and it was very interesting to say the least, so I kept reading until I finished all 25-pages (not really a “book”, more like an average-sized report). There was no calorie or “points” counting, no rigorous exercise routine, no eating or drinking things that make me wanna gag, and no gym membership required. The whole thing was just straight-forward, genuinely good information that’s presented and explained in a manner that just… well… makes sense.
And that’s hard to find, especially in the “health and fitness” niche.
The free eBook is actually the first of four volumes in the Anti-Aging Fitness Program. After reading the first volume for free, I had my eyes opened to so much good information that I was eager to get the rest of the three volumes… And I can safely say that I don’t regret feeling that way at all (especially since the product, currently being sold at $19.95, is such a great value).
Note: Continue reading the rest of this article and I’ll give you the download link to the free eBook, which is Volume 1 of the Anti-Aging Fitness Program. The product literally transformed the way my wife and I view fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, so needless to say, I highly recommend it.
To skip downloading just the free eBook (Volume 1) and just go ahead and get all four volumes, visit the Anti-Aging Fitness Program website for details on how you can get it today (there’s no shipping—all four volumes are downloaded).
However, before you do anything, I highly recommend reading the article below, which explains the underlying “philosophy” behind the Anti-Aging Fitness Program. It has to do with the importance of controlling your blood sugar. You’ll be surprised to find out that keeping an eye on your blood sugar isn’t just for those with diabetes anymore.
The article below is admittedly a little on the promotional side, but it does provide a lot of good information, and I recommend the product so I was able to dismiss the promotional “tone”.
Once again, I highly recommend you read the whole thing, it’s definitely worth it if you are at all interested in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

“It’s Not Your Fat, It’s Not Your Carbs, It’s Your… Blood Sugar”
Has Anyone Ever Said, “It’s All in Your Head”?
- Your memory lapses?
- Your mood swings?
- Your inability to lose weight?
- Your food cravings?
- Your fading eyesight?
- Your mental fuzziness?
- Your physical sluggishness?
Please be assured: Your Symptoms Are Real, but “They are All in Your Pancreas”!
Because that is the organ that regulates one of your body’s most important - and most frequently overlooked functions:
BLOOD SUGAR!
No, I’m not saying you have diabetes. (Although you might be on your way to getting it.)
I’m saying that if you are experiencing one or more of these symptoms, you may be suffering from a condition that affects millions of people (even though very few of them realize it):
Your blood sugar may be out of whack!
Why Should You Care About Your Blood Sugar?
Unless you’re diabetic, chances are you haven’t given a moment’s thought to your blood sugar before now. So why should you care about it?
- You should care if you find yourself getting sluggish or tired at 3:00 pm every afternoon.
- You should care if you reach for biscuits, sweets, or coal top give you a shot of energy.
- You should care if you’ve ever found yourself hungry late at night and making a refrigerator raid.
- You should care if your earnest attempts to lose weight have been met with little or no success.
- You should care if you’ve noticed your vision or your memory slipping in recent years.
What Is Blood Sugar, Anyway?
What exactly is blood sugar? And why is it so important to your health?
Well, blood sugar is to your body what petrol is to your car. It’s the fuel that makes it go.
If your car ran out of petrol, it would sputter, cough, and come to a stop. If you ran out of blood sugar, you would soon go into a coma and die.
Every cell in your body depends on blood sugar for the energy to stay alive and perform its function. Without a steady supply of blood sugar, your brain couldn’t think, your heart couldn’t beat, your feet couldn’t walk.
Fill Up Your Body’s “Petrol Tank”
So, like petrol, blood sugar is a good thing. But you can have too much of a good thing.
You wouldn’t pour fuel all over your car, would you?
But when your blood sugar gets high – and stays high – that’s exactly what you are doing.
You’re pouring petrol over your body and all the vital organs inside. Then when you add a small additional problem as high blood pressure or high cholesterol, you’re striking a match.
Your goal is to keep your “petrol tank” of blood sugar full, but not too full. And one of the key tools in this process is a hormone called insulin.
Fine-Tune Your “Fuel-Injection” System
Insulin is manufactured in your pancreas, and it’s job is to “inject” the blood sugar into your cells. Consider it your own personal fuel-injection system!
Whenever you eat – especially when you eat carbohydrates – the food is converted to blood sugar (glucose), and your pancreas cranks up its production of insulin. The insulin sends the blood sugar into your cells, and your cells use it for energy. When your blood sugar is high, your body hates to waste all that fuel. So whatever it can’t use right away for energy, it stores as fat to be used later.
The Mystery of Why You Gain Weight When You Hardly Ever Eat!
You’re late for work and the kids are late for school, so you don’t have time for breakfast. Work is really busy, so the only lunch you have time for is a bagel and a diet soft drink. Your body is in starvation mode, and your blood sugar is very low.
But when dinnertime comes, it’s a different story. Now you’re ready for a feast of roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet corn and bread rolls with butter.
Your blood sugar soars, your insulin spikes, and here’s what your body is thinking:
“We’ve been starving all day, and finally we got a decent meal. But who knows when we’ll eat again? We should store all this food as fat. That way, we’ll have a source of energy if we go back to starvation tomorrow.”
So on the next morning, you step on the scales and you’ve gained weight! You say to yourself, “But how could that happen? I only ate one meal yesterday!”.
How could it happen? It’s your blood sugar, that’s how!
Are you starting to understand why balancing your blood sugar is so important?
Doctors are beginning to realize that keeping a close eye on your blood sugar isn’t just for diabetics anymore. It’s for everyone – man, woman who wants to be fit, healthy, and live to ripe old age.
“Anti-Aging Fitness Program” helps people get control of their blood sugar. You will lose weight. Gain more energy. Sharpen your memory. And protect yourself against life-threatening illnesses like heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.
Would you like to find a diet where you never had to count calories or grams of fat?
Where you could have as many meals as you wanted throughout the day? Wherever you could eat whenever you feel hungry?
That’s not a diet, that’s a feast!
Controlling your blood sugar is one of the most exciting new discoveries to hit the world of weight loss in at least 25 years. “Anti-Aging Fitness Program” shows you exactly how it’s done.
What makes it so great?
It’s the only weight loss method ever invented that works not by depriving you of foods, but by urging you to eat more. It works by guiding you to great-tasting foods that naturally keep your blood sugar on an even keel.
As a result, your insulin rarely spikes…and your meals are less likely to get stored as fat. If your body needs more energy that it can get from your last meal, it borrows form your existing reserves of fat in your belly, butt, and thighs.
So you could actually get thinner and thinner – even though you feel like you’re eating all the time! You’re rarely hungry. Your cravings for sweets and carb crunches will disappear.
Start Your Day with a Burst of Energy
Do you ever find yourself getting off to a slow start in the morning? Or crashing after lunch in the afternoon? Or feeling exhausted after dinner at night?
When you skip meals and compensate by scoffing down a high-carbohydrate snack – like a bag of crisps, for example – you’re putting your blood sugar on a roller coaster ride.
And more often than not, it’s going to leave you feeling exactly like a real roller coaster would – exhausted, dizzy, and sick.
When you grab that bag of chips, your blood sugar starts chugging up like a roller coaster on the first big incline. But when it gets to the top, your insulin takes over and sends it crashing back down to earth.
For that one little moment at the top of the hill, you might feel pretty good. But before you know it, you’re down in the dumps – tired and hungry again.
Eating the ANTI-AGING FITNESS way takes you off the roller coaster and puts you on a racetrack. You’ll have all the energy you need to keep going and going all day.
Put an End to Your Mood Swings
The same thing that happens to your energy level during the day could also happen to your emotions.
Have you ever noticed yourself getting grouchy in the morning or cranky late at night just like a small child? Have you ever been so down in the dumps in the afternoon that you felt like you were living at the bottom of a swimming pool?
You may have written this off as PMS or menopause, but it happens to men too. You might even be taking prescription drugs for depression or anxiety.
But there’s a chance that you’re not sick at all. You simply need to take better control of your blood sugar. I can show you how.
Boost Your Memory and Mental Alertness
Did you know that your brain needs more blood sugar than any other part of your body?
It’s true. Your brain is a virtual sponge for blood sugar, sucking up nearly 25% of all the glucose in your bloodstream. They used to say that fish was brain food, but scientists now believe that the real brain food is a spoonful of sugar.
At a recent test conducted by Dr. Paul Gold at the University of Illinois, for example, Alzheimer’s patients scored 100% better on memory tests after drinking a glass of super-sweet lemonade than they did when they took a similar test without the lemonade.
But before you run to the doughnut shop, keep this in mind: The object is not to give yourself a sudden hit of blood sugar, but to keep your blood sugar balanced throughout the day.
When you eat a doughnut for breakfast, for example, it might keep you functioning well at work for an hour or so. But your pancreas will respond by pumping out more insulin, which in turn makes your blood sugar drop. By 10 o’clock, you’ll be back in the brain fog.
If you want to stay mentally alert and sharp throughout the day, you should try eating the ANTI-AGING FITNESS way. Change Your Body and Be Admired by your friends, colleagues and family in 60 days or your money back.
Protect Your Eyesight As Long As You Live!
No one wants to move into a nursing home or become a burden to their family. No one wants to stop living in their own house or lose their driver’s license. That’s why it’s so important to keep your eyesight in good shape as you get older.
But blood sugar that stays too high for too long is thought to be one of the worse things you can do to your eyes!
All that excess glucose in your bloodstream could damage the tiny capillaries in your eyes making them swell and burst, impairing your vision.
Too much glucose can also cause the growth of new (and unnecessary) blood vessels in your eyes. This condition is called diabetic retinopathy, which is one of the leading causes of loss of vision and even blindness in extreme cases.
What’s more, research shows people with blood sugar problems are nearly twice as likely to develop glaucoma and 50% more likely to develop cataracts.
Your eyes are just like your teeth. Treat them right, and they should last you a lifetime. But expose them to too much sugar, and you’re going to have problems.
Want to Live Long and Healthy Life!
Heart attack. Stroke. Cancer. These are the diseases that cut people down before their time. And scientists are beginning to realize that blood sugar problems play a role in each of them.
Take heart disease for example. Some doctors now believe that having high blood sugar is actually as much of an indication of future heart disease as having high cholesterol!
Why? Because too much sugar in your bloodstream can change the chemistry of your artery walls, making them as sticky like flypaper. Traveling blood clots get stuck in the flypaper, possibly causing a blockage.
But of course, the biggest risk you face with high blood sugar is diabetes itself.
Please don’t shrug off diabetes simply because it’s a “treatable” disease. If you don’t think diabetes is a serious illness, consider that there are people who have lost a leg because of it. Or who are hooked up to a dialysis machine.
Believe me, diabetes is something you want to avoid. But if your blood sugar is too high for too long, you’re taking a risk by increasing your chances of becoming diabetic.
Fortunately, there’s a lot you can do to get off that road. And you can start doing it today.
Take Control of Your Blood Sugar
Now are you convinced how important it is to control your blood sugar?

Do you ever skip meals in order to lose weight, for example?
Wrong!
My research shows that if you want to keep your blood sugar low and your waistline trim, you’ve got to eat more often, not less.
Eat up to six Meals a Day, and Still Lose Weight
When you start eating ‘Fitness Anti-Aging” way, you may find yourself enjoying as many as six delicious meals and snacks in a given day. And yet you could still lose weight.
Why?
Because eating many nutritious meals throughout the day keeps your blood sugar and insulin levels in balance. As a result, your food is used up immediately for energy and not stored for a later use as fat.
Eating ANTI-AGING FITNESS way helps control high blood sugar as well as prescription drugs. That’s why many doctors now use nutrition as their first line of defense against type 2 diabetes.
Foods That Keep Your Waist Thin and Your Mind Sharp!
All foods you eat are converted by your body to into blood sugar. There’s no way to avoid it. (And you wouldn’t want to avoid it if you could!)
The only difference between foods is how quickly they convert into blood sugar.
Because some foods send your blood sugar skyrocketing in a heartbeat. Eating honey, for example, is like injecting glucose directly into your veins! Other foods languish in your digestive system and release their blood sugar very slowly and gradually.
The first type of food (called high-glycemic) includes the ones that tend to make you heavier, more sluggish, more forgetful, and less fit.
The second type of food (low-glycemic) includes the ones that tend to keep your waist thin, your energy level high, your mind sharp, and your body strong.
And that brings me to what is perhaps the most important nutritional discovery and weight loss breakthrough of the past 25 years. It’s called the Glycemic Index.
The World’s Most Powerful Weight Loss Secret!
Are you tired of counting calories? Tired of adding up grams of fat? Tired of weighing your food and measuring portion sizes against an imaginary deck of cards?
Well throw away those cards, because the Glycemic Index has completely reshuffled the deck when it comes to what we know about eating healthfully and losing weight.
The Glycemic index is the easiest weight loss tools ever invented, because it simply tells you where on the blood sugar scale a certain food falls.
Making simple choices. That’s all there is to it!
In fact, it’s even easier than that. Because I did all the work for you and I white-listed, grey-listed and blacklisted the main carbs for easy use. You will find these lists on pages 50-52 of Anti-Aging Fitness Program.
What’s Really Causing You Stress?
Your Neanderthal grandfather led a pretty quite life. Mostly he dug up roots and picked berries during the day and slept peacefully under the stars at night.
But every now and then, something would happen that would put his life in danger. A saber-toothed tiger, perhaps, or another tribe of cavemen trying to muscle in on his territory.
Suddenly, he was faced with a life-or-death decision. Do I stand here and fight? Or do I make tracks? No matter which choice he made, his body’s cells were going to need a lot of energy…and they were going to need it fast.
So Nature designed his body in such a way that at moments like this, his adrenalin would spike and caused a jump in his insulin to send all the available glucose to fight – or to take flight – he would have the energy he needed to survive.
But again, let’s fast-forward a few thousand years to see how this affects you.
Let’s say you’re sitting at your desk one morning when your boss walks in, hopping mad. “I TOLD YOU I NEEDED THAT REPORT BY TODAY AT THE LATEST!” he screams. But you’ve been busy with other things, and you forgot all about it.
What do you do?
You can’t punch your boss in the nose. (Although you might like to!) And you can’t jump up and run out of the building. (That’s tempting to!)
But your body reacts just like the caveman’s. Your adrenalin jumps and spikes your insulin which injects glucose into your cells. And the next thing you know, your blood sugar is out of sync.
“Under stress, your body goes into fight-or-fight mode, raising blood sugar levels to prepare you for action.”
– Richard Surwit, PhD, Duke University
You can’t fight. And you can’t flee. So what you do is sit there and fret. You worry. You stew. You get angry and depressed. And your blood sugar pays the price.
But take heart!
“Anti-Aging Fitness Program” will show you how to fight fire with ice. Part 2 of the program, “Unleash Your Mental Power”, will help you to cope better with stress and get rid of your worries.

This is a very interesting post about our blood sugar. I guess it would be better if you should eat more veggies and fruits instead of biscuits and other sugar additives that you can find in your food.
